UCL Campaign Launch - How Will Society Survive Into The 22nd Century?
Philanthropy founded UCL as a home for radical thinkers and to open up equality of education for all. Nearly 200 years later, philanthropy is still at the heart of UCL.
As we launch a major new Campaign for UCL, join some of the university’s leading academics to debate how their work is shaping the way we live in this century and beyond.
The interactive event will be hosted by UCL alumna and ITV Economics Editor Noreena Hertz, and panelists will include:
Dr Kevin Fong – UCL Centre for Space Medicine, and science presenter and broadcaster
Professor Lucie Green – UCL Department for Space and Climate Physics, and first woman presenter of The Sky At Night
Professor John Hardy – UCL Institute of Neurology, and first UK winner of the Breakthrough Prize for his research into dementia
Professor Philippe Sands – Faculty of Laws, and international human rights expert
Professor Henrietta L Moore – Director of the UCL Institute for Global Prosperity and social anthropologist
