Progressive Education and the 'Tiny Furniture'

The archives of UCL and IOE
A short introduction to UCL Special Collections by Sarah Aitchison, Head of Special Collections at UCL Libraries. In a talk recorded for students on the course 'The Worlds of UCL: Critical Histories of Education, Nation and Empire' Sarah outlines the content of the institutional archive of UCL, dating from 1826 and the Institute of Education, dating from 1902. The talk ends with a tour of the IOE archive store room.
