Dr Walke, Associate Professor of History; Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies; Jewish, Islamic, and Middle Eastern Studies; and of Global Studies at Washington University in St Louis, has researched and written extensively on the experience of first-generation Soviet Jews during the Holocaust.
