Jeanette Dickson was elected as Chair of Council of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (AoMRC) from July 2023. She remains a practicing consultant clinical oncologist at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Hertfordshire focusing primarily on thoracic malignancies and providing radiotherapy for patients with haematological conditions. She spent five years as clinical director at the centre.

Professor McNally has been a consultant and orthopedic surgeon for over 22 years. In December 2018, Scarlett was diagnosed with Myeloma and Cardiac amyloidosis. At the time both were considered incurable, but she had amazing treatment, including a stem cell transplant in 2020. Scarlett is currently president of the Medical Women's Federation.

In this episode, Jane talks to Professor Gozie Offiah. Gozie was brought up in Ireland and went to the RCSI, Dublin where she learned her trade as a doctor and decided to become a surgeon. She has been extremely successful in her career and has now moved into medical education - inspiring the next generation of doctors and women surgeons.

In this episode Jane Dacre is joined by Professor Dame Clare Gerada. Clare is one of a small number of people who've been both the Chair and the President of the Royal College of General Practitioners. As a child, Clare was inspired by her GP father and has since gone on to become a household name in medicine. Clare chairs the NHS Assembly, and is to be seen often in broadcast media.
