UCL support allows fertility company to help more people
UCL support is allowing Enhanced Fertility to help more people. Enhanced Fertility drastically speeds up home testing for infertility issues, so people can get a diagnosis and start treatment sooner. Founder Andreia Trigo received support from UCL's Innovate UK team in UCL Innovation & Enterprise to expand Enhanced Fertility. She said: "The Innovate UK team at UCL have been incredibly helpful. They've worked with us to clarify our mission, to prepare pitch decks, to work out our go-to market strategy, everything. "With their input, we’ve also been able to access a grant to develop a platform for clinics, which we launched in January this year." UCL Innovation & Enterprise brought UCL’s community together with Liverpool John Moores University, Barclays Eagle Labs, and SevenStore.com to explore sustainability, innovation and techniques to repurpose existing garments.

DERC Seminar: Reflecting on Connecting Classrooms through Global Learning
The Connecting Classrooms through Global Learning programme (2018-22) was a £34.5m programme jointly funded by the British Council and the UK FCDO that aimed to work with schools, teachers and students to provide young people with the knowledge and awareness to take action on local and global issues and develop their core and transferable skills. But just how successful was the programme at achieving it's aims? Ipsos MORI UK, together with its partner Learn More, were commissioned to conduct an independent evaluation of the programme’s impacts across four programme countries - UK, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Kenya and Nepal. Please join us to discuss and review the evaluation’s findings with a panel of experts including Professor Douglas Bourn (IOE, UCL's Faculty of Education & Society), Jessica Bruce (Ipsos MORI), Lorenzo Newman (Learn More), Neil Williams (British Council) and Rob Unwin (Development Education Centre South Yorkshire).
