Prof Caroline Doré - Inaugural Lecture
Caroline Doré joined the MRC Clinical Trials Unit in 2001 as a senior statistician. In 2015 she was promoted to Professor of Clinical Trials and Statistics.

She joined the Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit in 2012 as Head of Statistics.

She has worked as a statistical consultant since graduating from UCL in 1970. Clinical research areas include rheumatology, cardiology, surgery, neurology, paediatrics, ophthalmology, anaesthesia, gastroenterology and medical imaging, with more than 300 publications.

This lecture focuses on changes she has seen in trial design, conduct, analysis and reporting and measures that have been introduced to improve research reproducibility.
