Greenlandic:  Language of the Arctic

This session will introduce you to the Greenlandic language- the only Eskimo language of Europe.

The session will begin with an introduction to the language’s fascinating history.

It will then give you a taste of the intriguing grammatical structure of Greenlandic, which is a polysynthetic language, meaning that a single word can be the equivalent of an entire sentence in other languages.
