What matters about space for learning?

Abstract: ‘Space’ is a complex concept. In this talk Jos – recently appointed Honorary Professor in the IoE Knowledge Lab – will critically examine some of the conceptual models and research methods for understanding the variable effects of physical, hybrid and virtual environments on learning. She also asks how we might move beyond a centring of ‘effective’ learning environments towards making pedagogic spaces more equitable.
