Marcus Fruttiger’s group investigates the development and the physiology of the retinal vasculature, as well as diseases that affect the retinal vasculature, such as diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of prematurity and Macular Telangiectasia.
Mariya’s research is focussing on investigating the molecular aetiology and disease mechanisms causing congenital eye anomalies and inherited retinal disease. She also has a strong focus on developing novel molecular therapies for genetic eye disease with clinical translation.
Anthony is a consultant ophthalmologist surgeon managing patients with glaucoma and researching the genetic causes and predictors of glaucoma and treatment success.
Dr. Jones and Dr. Dekker run the UCL Child Vision Lab, which studies visual development and its neural mechanisms in children with normal vision and eye disease.
