DERC Webinar: Leadership for Sustainability

This DERC seminar, the latest in several to examine Education for Sustainability, will see prominent author, consultant & educator ​Dr David Dixon present and discuss his new book Leadership for Sustainability: Saving the planet one school at a tim, which draws on both his doctoral research and his 20 years’ experience as a head teacher to set out how school leaders can embed eco-friendly practices in the day-to-day running of their schools that will also contribute to overall school improvement, including that recognised by inspectors. After Dr Dixon's presentation, Dr Rupert Higham (UCL Centre for Educational Leadership) will provide a response. The event will be Chaired by Douglas Bourn, Professor of Development Education at IOE and Director of DERC.
